SHIPPING POLICY

Important Note about Shipping

Due to unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19 and its impact on USPS, there may be an unavoidable delay in receiving your shipment. This is beyond our control, therefore we recommend allowing sufficient time between placing your order and your desired delivery date.

Shipping and Order Processing

  • Cozy Tea Eatery ships throughout the contiguous 48 United States using USPS as our third party shipping carrier.

  • We offer Flat Rate shipping of $7.95 nationwide for an individual item. Extra items in a single order will incur an additional shipping charge calculated at Checkout.

  • Orders are shipped nationwide, using USPS Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to avoid weekend overlays. We do not ship nationwide Thursdays through Sundays or holidays.

  • Orders placed on Monday and before 12 PM EST on Tuesday will be shipped on Wednesday.

  • Orders placed after 12 PM EST on Tuesday will be shipped the following Monday.

  • Orders placed Wednesday and Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.

  • Orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on the following Tuesday.

  • Once your package has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number. It may take up to 24 hours  for your tracking number to appear in the USPS tracking system. Please be patient!

  • On average our shipping typically takes 2-3 days from the day the package is sent but can take longer during instances of high volume with the carrier.

  • During times of high volume such as around holidays, there may be a small delay in shipping your order.

Nationwide Shipping Guarantee

  • Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States.

  • We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

  • Cozy Tea Eatery is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  •  If you notice that there is a mistake with your address and your package has already been sent, contact USPS and attempt an address change, or request that the package be held for pick up as we can not change an address once the package has been sent.

  • Shipments that are returned by USPS due to incorrect  information will be subject to a $15 reshipment and processing fee.

  • Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered, USPS may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver.

  • We cannot be responsible for theft or damage to packages left outdoors resulting from a delivery where no one is able to receive  the package.

  • If your package says that it has been delivered but it is not at your delivery address please contact USPS directly at: 1 (800) 275-8777  with your tracking number so that they may help you locate the package. We do not have any extra information on the whereabouts of your package after it has been shipped. 

  • Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.

  • During peak holiday seasons, orders may be delayed due to the high volume of orders received.

  • Cozy Tea Eatery is not responsible for any USPS delivery delays due to the high volume that USPS experiences during holiday seasons and other high traffic occurrences.

  • For other shipping or tracking questions once a package is in transit please contact  USPS directly at 1 (800) 275-8777.

Care Instructions

  • For best results, our scones should be refrigerated upon receipt and consumed within 5 to 7 days of delivery. They can alternatively be frozen upon arrival for up to  6 months.

  • To warm from refrigerated, place the scones in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5 to 7 minutes until hot to the touch. Or microwave in short increments, 10 seconds at a time until warm.

  • To warm the scones from frozen, thaw at room temperature for about 1 hour or microwave for 30 seconds. Then place the scones in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5 to 7 minutes until hot to the touch.

FOR BEST RESULTS, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND WARMING THE SCONES IN THE OVEN!

Returns

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, Cozy Tea Eatery DOES NOT accept returns, or exchanges.

  • We do not offer refunds/exchanges based on customer flavor preference.

  • If there is an issue with your order, please contact us WITHIN 24 HOURS  of when the package was received and provide a photo and detailed description of the issue, and we will make every effort to make sure you are happy with your order.

  • For damage claims, we require photos of the external shipping box and the damaged product along with a detailed description of the issue within 24 HOURS of when the package was received.

  • Shipping fees are non refundable.

Cancellations and Modifications

Orders may not be cancelled within two business days of the ship or pick-up date. For order cancellation or modification requests, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, however, such requests may not be possible due to the order processing schedule.

If you made a mistake placing your order and your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can make modifications to the contents and shipping details. Simply reply to your order confirmation and let us know what you’d like to change! You can also call us directly at 904 592 7988.

If you would like to cancel your subscription simply login to your Customer Account and cancel your subscription from your Customer Dashboard.

For subscription orders, please be aware that your subscription cannot be cancelled once it auto renews until the following month.

It is the customer's responsibility to cancel any subscriptions intended for a one time order in a timely fashion.

Special Orders and Large Quantities

If you would like to place a special order or order a large quantity (48 scones or more), please contact us prior to placing your order online. We can then work with you to determine a suitable delivery date.
